Leptospira noguchii is a pathogenic species of Leptospira. The most common pathogen within this species is serogroup Autumnalis serovar ''fortbragg'' strain Fort Bragg. This organism is famous for causing febrile illness in soldiers at Fort Bragg, NC from July through September 1942.
